1. Recycled rain water
   We have incorporated in our hydraulic system the re use of roof water for flushing of toilets and urinals in the public amenities on retail levels. We achieved this via the installation of 2 x 35,000 litre tanks manifolded together.These tanks collect rain water from the entire roof catchment area via a syphonic drainage system. The recycled water is then filtered and reticulated to the toilets and urinals through a lilac coloured non portable water service.
   
   

2. Sustainable Car Wash.
   This is located in the lower level car park of the centre. It has been purpose built so that use of town water is minimised. There are two 35,000 litre tanks manifolded together. These tanks collect rain water from the entire roof catchment area via a syphonic drainage system. The recycled water is then filtered, and pumped to the car wash area. Soapy water is then directed into the grating system, and this grey water is then disposed of. Unfortunately the chemicals used in a car wash cannot be recycled to garden beds.
