1. Waterless urinal have be installed in public & staff toilets.

2. All bathroom basins have restrictors installed.

3. Deepwater Plaza Hydrant pipeline that runs from the Sprinkler valve room to KMART Auto was found to be pitted with rust. The water consumption increased due to leaking, the pipe work was replaced during the re-development doing this reduced the water bill considerably.

4. Gosford City Council (GCC) has a policy for businesses to draw up a water management plan for different water levels. We at Centre Management had drawn up a plan for level three and then level four water restrictions. On the Water Management plan, Centre Management gave a direction to Gosford City Council to have the tenants that use large amounts of water to contact them and have them fill paperwork to obtain a Water Permit this was requested from CM to make the tenants accountable for their water usage.

5. We have installed two water tanks 4000 litres for filling up cleaning machinery to clean verandahs and walkways.

6. All plants and shrubs that have been planted are natives; this is very important due to the lack of rainfall.

7. All single flush toilets have been replaced with duel flush reducing the water consumption.
