Grey water projects

Grey water recycling, Victoria Hotel
We are upgrading the East block of the Victoria Hotel.

The work will involve a separate water waste from the showers and basins, which will be treated, and then used as "greywater" to flush the toilets, which then will be dumped as "black water".

This extensive works will involve the following steps in the plumbing:

• The existing stack which is constructed in copper will be retained.
• The existing sewer branch will be disconnected and sealed.
• A new stack will be installed in PVC to service the Toilets Only which will discharge directly to the sewer as Blackwater.
• The Existing retained copper Stack will be left to pick up all the Greywater which will discharge into a pre-holding tank.
• The Greywater will be then processed through the treated plant.
• This Treated water will be treated a specific legal quality water and pumped to storage tanks on the roof space.
• This Treated water will then , separately supply on the Toilets.
