COMINGLED RECYCLING
We use the comingle ( i.e. bottle and can recycling).
We dispose of the cardboard in bails. Once every week.
The bins for the guestroom rubbish are looked at and reduced as there will be no kitchen waste in the bin only the guest room waste, this will be looked at to reduce bins and pick up times post operation.
The cardboard bailer has also been installed reducing the amount of bin pickups during the week which means reduction of costs all around and better base line reporting….
All bottles, cans. polystyrene boxes, batteries, are being recycled so, our circular economy is working well.
This is a six-month trial, so we expect a good outcome as the dehydrated waste is also recycled, once it is completed, we will do a full analysis and hopefully we can implement in other properties.
